Dr. Gary Bacon
Dr. Bacon is a graduate of Warren Central High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry degree from Wabash College. While at Wabash, he was a member of the wrestling team who achieved the Academic All-American Award and a brother of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Bacon attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992. Dr. Bacon is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the Greater Indianapolis Dental Implant Study Club, and the Spear Academy of Dental Education. Dr. Bacon actively attends and participates in a variety of continuing educational classes in order to maintain current on technological advancements in dentistry. Dr. Bacon has also traveled internationally providing dental care to underserved populations.
Dr. Bacon and his family are very active in their Church community and he has enjoyed coaching wrestling, soccer, softball and volleyball.
Dr. Bacon and his wife Sandy have 2 children; Brittany, who currently resides and works in Boston, and Cam, who is currently pursing his undergraduate degree. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Bacon enjoys spending time with his family, reading, bicycling, traveling, water/snow skiing, backpacking and scuba diving.
Dr. Cory Zent
Dr. Zent graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with honors and a degree in Health Science with a minor in Business Management. He then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2007. After graduating from IUSD he completed a 1 year General Practice Residency affiliated with Indiana University, Wishard Hospital and University Hospital. Dr. Zent gained experience with emergency dentistry, hospital based dentistry and had rotations with ENT, Anesthesia, Oral Surgery, TMD clinic, Pathology and Head/Neck Tumor Clinic. Dr. Zent enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including, but not limited to, full mouth rehabilitation, fillings, crowns, root canals, oral surgery, removeable prosthodontics (dentures/partials) and tori removal.
Dr. Zent and his wife of 17 years, RaeAnn, have 3 children - Gavin, Olivia and Gibson. Their family enjoys watching movies, going on family vacations, hanging out with friends and attending Church functions.
A few fun facts about Dr. Zent is that he LOVES to watch UFC fights, Purdue basketball and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts. Dr. Zent prides himself with building relationships with his patients, joking around a little and providing quality, caring dentistry. He can also make you a balloon animal if you ask him nicely.
